Film: In the wild
My love for film is a more recent one. I used to find video intriguing but frustrating because I lacked the understanding of editing. Now, I look at film as snapshots of the photos I take. Video is a way to express life in moments that otherwise go unnoticed.
I developed this interest in my storytelling class. For this video, I decided to bring my photoshoots to life.
What I used to create the video: 8mm app on the iPhone and iMovie on the Mac
Graphic Design: Mother Nature
The poster I created to the left is meant to demonstrate the effects of the opioid crisis to those in communities that believe in the Earth as something bigger than themselves. Our assignment for our graphic design course was to catch the attention of those who might be affected by this epidemic. The target audience is influenced by natural and spiritual factors. They believe that they are ever-powerful and can overcome anything. The goal of this ad is to show them that it is too soon to enter into the earth and that they are not all that they think they are.
What I used to create the poster: Illustrator and Photoshop
Copywriting: Mastery by mal
One of my most difficult but rewarding projects was creating copy for a digital marketing website. This proved to be the most challenging because of the length of the amount of copy I had to do and the time that went into it.
I ended with work that I can say is some of my best and that I am most proud of. I learned how to tell a story in a different way using real people and a real product.
